
At GoDiveMex, our Open Water Diver course is designed to introduce you to the amazing underwater world, allowing you to dive to depths of up to 18 meters (60 feet). You’ll start by learning essential diving knowledge and safety principles, followed by skill practice in a controlled environment like a pool. Once you're confident with your scuba gear, buoyancy, and safety procedures, you'll move on to exciting open water dives. With our experienced instructors guiding you, this course offers the perfect blend of education and adventure, opening the door to countless underwater experiences!

KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT
The first phase of your Open Water Diver training at GoDiveMex. During this stage, you'll learn the essential principles of diving, including safety procedures, how pressure affects your body, and how to plan and execute dives responsibly. This foundational knowledge prepares you for the practical skills you'll use underwater, ensuring you're ready to dive safely and

CONFINED WATER DIVES
Where you'll first practice essential scuba skills in a controlled environment, such as a pool or shallow water. At GoDiveMex, you'll learn how to handle your equipment, control your buoyancy, and manage underwater situations with the guidance of your instructor. This phase builds your confidence and prepares you for open water dives.​​​​

OPEN WATER DIVES
Open Water Dives are the final step of your training at GoDiveMex, where you'll apply the skills you’ve learned in the stunning waters of the Caribbean. For the first time, you’ll experience the thrill of diving in the open ocean, exploring vibrant marine life and crystal-clear reefs. With your instructor by your side, you'll complete four unforgettable dives in one of the world’s most beautiful dive locations.​​
